Random Thoughts On Josh...
What makes him unique in the universe is he can sing ‘Pavoratti’, run fast around the arena WHILE singing & not miss a note, banter with & hug some swooning ladies, ask a little kid a question, do a duet with a fan, give answers to trick questions on the fly & tell jokes all within a 10 minute time span & never miss a beat…& then go right into a serious song…& sound better than Pavoratti ever did even after all that craziness…doing any one of those things in front of 20,000 people would be nerve wracking but all of the above in 10 minutes is simply super human. I’ve never known anyone ever that could do THAT. If Josh just had a great voice he'd just have a lifetime career at the Metropolitan Opera or something like that. I saw on youtube he did a duet with Josh Page at MSG, but our Josh is in a different universe cuz of the list above. His producer will never find another Josh Groban. And to me the icing on the cake is he’s moral & won’t even take his shirt off…well not as rule anyway….OMG LOL LOL

say one time that his parents bring him down to earth about
himself so maybe that has something to do with his self deprecating
statements.
I think we may have an eternal bachelor on our hands. I think
he’s using a passive aggressive trick by saying that he’d like
to meet someone who’s never heard of him. The odds of that are almost zero now, esp in NYC after Madison Square Garden. Kind of like not showing up for an appointment because you really don’t like someone & don’t want to tell them outright. Come on, give me a break. If he just came out & said ‘I’m never getting married, ever’ it would diminish the hopeful swooning ladies in his fan base. And I’m not buying that a woman really in love with him wouldn’t be willing to tour with him. I’m just not buying that excuse he uses about having to leave on tour & it not being fair to whoever he’s serious with. That’s just not holding water with me any more. And why move to NYC in the first place if the goal is to find romance with someone who's never heard of you? Moving to a corn field in Iowa would be a much better choice for that in my opinion.
I don’t think he’ll ever get married. I hope I’m wrong but intuition is starting to scream here. Comments would be greatly appreciated.

He’s a complete enigma…I think some of it is just the way he is & some of it is on purpose for the ‘mystique’ it creates.

Random Thoughts On Josh Part VI
Although I haven’t yet been to a Josh concert, I think his fan base is definitely a broad spectrum of ages & cultures. The rave videos on youtube are mostly from girls under 20. Kids 4 years old singing songs about him on youtube and a rapper did a Josh drum tribute video. Could be that it seems to be more an older crowd at his concerts cuz those are the folks who are retired with enough time & money to see him live. I taught his music to my students for years and I remember a student 10 years ago brought in his CD & his famous hammock photo & said ‘has a man ever looked at you like that’ but at the time he was just a great singer to me. My epiphany happened last June when I decided to spend a week watching Lady Gaga & Josh videos. Something clicked and I’ve been completely hooked ever since, on Josh not Lady Gaga. Guess it’s cuz he’s the man I always wanted to meet & never did. He certainly sets the bar impossibly high for all the men out there….ok I know I’m rambling….

JMHO here ~ I think Josh thrives on being an ‘enigma’ i.e. never takes his clothes off in public but Loves throwing sexual inuendos all the time; same thing with the women he dates i.e. loves the ‘implied but never delivered’ info he dishes out on Twitter etc…that seems to be consistently his MO. Compared to the trashy male acts out there his methods are very old fashioned but somehow they work perfect for him keeping his female fan base continually fascinated while keeping his love life protected. Personally trashy males turn me off & the ‘implied but never delivered’ MO keeps my interest indefinietly. I hate the trashy male/female acts. Obviously he carefully thinks about this stuff or he wouldn’t be so consistent about it. JMHO again but I don’t see him having kids, just my intuition on that one. My intuitive guess is that he’s mostly a monk on tour and if he had more than two wild flings on the last tour I would be surprised. If he had lots of wild flings all the time it would definitely have leaked out by now, so I just don’t think that’s his MO. If it happened all the time not all the women would respect a gag order, or whatever he does to keep things quiet.
Ozy ~ On R&K this time after he sang ‘I’ll be home for Christmas’ Kelly said ‘Josh, you should sing all the time, 365 days a year’ to which he replied ‘I already do & I’m sick & tired of it’….he said it under his breath & I rewound the youtube vid to be sure I heard right. We hope he was only kidding but there may be a kernel of truth to that. He’s truly a class act to be so consistently ‘ON’ all the time.

The reason I don’t think he’s cut out for kids is his ‘Galileo’ references to his overthinking about everything including love. Kids don’t give a person time to be an overthinker & I think his creativity would be too stifled. Of course with nannys and such support systems at his level of lifestyle I could be completely wrong. I had a friend who was married to a multi millionaire doctor & they would just call the Nanny for a weekend or a month & disappear. Now to Annie, I have to back track on my previous comment awhile back about him never marrying. I’ve only been a Grobie since June but I’ve been an intense one (LOL) and I have to think that part of his mystique with his lady fans is that some gal will eventually win the lottery & be his forever. At least that’s a big part of his mystique IMHO. It would have to be someone who could give him a lot of space as needed IMHO.

Random Thoughts On Josh Part X
What I noticed about the Vlog is Josh thinking in multiple layers while he’s talking, a trait he calls ‘overthinking’…did anyone else notice this? I thought the Vlog was relaxed & ‘real’ & didn’t ‘dis’ the fans at all IMHO. For God’s sake he can’t be superhero all the time, & he was still technically ‘on vacation’. What appears ‘rote’ about his shows I would chalk up to photographic memory that allows him to do things exactly the same way every time, but then he switches gears & improvs instantly with the audience. I’ve never know anyone do that better. I’m excited about Chris' film of ‘Just Walk Away’…hope it’s out soon. I agree with you all here that Josh needs to keep his solo singing the main focus…& I can’t be objective about his acting cuz I’m just too crazy about him…ROFL….
